Beautiful reconstruction of a typical, early medieval short scramaseax, which was very popular with several Germanic tribes (not only the Saxon). These seaxes were not only used as weapons but also or even mostly as cutting, edging or curving tools.

The guard consists of two sheets from steel, fixing the decorated horn plate with two rivets. The handle and the pommel are from steel. This seax is also available with a horn handle.

Delivery includes the pictured brown leather sheath.
